Is there some category of business I’m missing? Or were these distributors listed on the future or 80/20 site? I have seen people say they sourced t-slot from local Maxine shops- but how do you find them? This is a reasonably industrial town but seems like it would take many days calling shops and asking if they have t-slots to sell, and I’m guessing most receptionists haven’t heard of it. But after creating my account the site is down for maintenance. Mitsumi looks interesting, great website with apparently online ordering. More core distributors for 80/20 are in other states.įuture industries has a “distributor” nearby but their website doesn’t inspire confidence. Amazon you pay separate shipping for each piece, again often doubling the price. Grainger and other distributors charge the same as buying from 8020 with shipping. This will let me buy longer lengths than can be shipped, and no shipping costs.
I’m considering placing an order and driving to I Diana and picking it up directly. Ordering from produces a shipping charge of %50-%100 of the order amount. Having a bit of difficulty sourcing t-slot extruded aluminum at reasonable price.
